How to delete your Halt AI account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from inside the app. The process takes about a minute and is permanent.

Steps

1. Open the Halt AI app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Settings tab (gear icon, bottom right).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
5. If you signed in with email, enter your password. If you signed in with Apple or Google, you'll be prompted to re-authenticate with that provider.
6. Tap Delete Account and confirm in the dialog.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile (name, email, sign-in identifiers)
• All recorded sessions, transcripts, and audio
• Streak history, milestones, and progress data
• Custom practice prompts you saved
• Notification tokens and push preferences

Timeline

Deletion happens immediately. Your account is removed from Firebase Authentication within seconds; session data and audio files are wiped from our Firestore database in the same request. A short audit log (date of deletion, account ID, no personal details) is retained for fraud prevention and dispute resolution, then purged after 30 days.

Subscriptions

To cancel a Halt AI Core subscription:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone (the iOS Settings app, not Halt AI).
2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
3. Select Halt AI Core → Cancel Subscription.

You can cancel before or after deleting your account. If you cancel after deletion, your subscription will continue to charge until cancelled in iOS Settings.

Need help?

If you can't access the app (lost your device, signed out, etc.) and need to request deletion another way, email support@haltai.app from the email address tied to your account. Include your account email and we'll process the deletion within 30 days as required by applicable privacy laws.
